Salutations!
Let me introduce myself. My name is Bryan Loar, and I’m so glad that you’ve come to my Web site. From my résumé, you’ll be able to see a general overview of my past experiences; however, I believe my résumé only tells one particular part of my story. So, let me briefly fill in the gaps.
I’ve lived two years in Hawaii, and I’ve lived two months in Italy. I’ve spent a summer exploring the U.S. by the means of a cross-country road trip, and I’ve met an incredibility diverse stratum of the human population—from Italian craftsmen of Lecce to Haitian cab drivers of New Orleans. The point is that I have gained greater perspective through my travels. I’ve met a wide array of wonderful people both here and abroad, and I’ve begun and continue to this day to garner a deep respect for the positive impacts that people may have on each other. At times, my travels have placed me slightly out of my comfort zone, but I’ve learned to maintain an open mind about geographical, cultural, and personal differences. In fact, I now make it a priority to know these differences and to celebrate them. I’ve also learned there are many solutions to a particular problem, and I’ve learned that teamwork and collaboration are paramount to effectively create change.
These lessons have helped me develop and mature both personally and professionally. Please take the time to get to know me. My blog is one way to do this, but directly e-mailing me is also an excellent option.
Sincerely,
Bryan Loar
